
Alongside the POCO C81 Pro, the company also expanded its AIoT ecosystem in Malaysia with the launch of the new POCO Pad C1. It is a budget-friendly tablet aimed at students, casual users, and everyday streaming needs. The tablet is now available in Malaysia, starting from RM549 during its promotional launch period.
The POCO Pad C1 Tech Specs
To kick off, one of the biggest highlights of the POCO Pad C1 is its 9.7-inch 2K display, featuring refresh rates of up to 120Hz. It also reaches up to 600 nits peak brightness and is equipped with triple TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications.

Battery life is another major focus for the Pad C1, as it is packed with a 7,600mAh battery with charging support, including 18W (wired) and 10W reverse charging functionality. Moreover, the Pad C1 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 platform paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, with support for expandable storage of up to 2TB through microSD expansion.
Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and Other Features
The POCO Pad C1 runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, bringing several AI and ecosystem-focused features into the experience. This includes Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity features designed to improve cross-device functionality and productivity within the Xiaomi ecosystem.

Additionally, the tablet features a slim metal unibody design that gives the tablet a cleaner and more premium appearance despite its budget positioning. POCO says the tablet underwent over 40 quality and durability tests to ensure better reliability for daily usage. Lastly, the tablet is available in Grey and Blue colour options.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
The POCO Pad C1 is now officially available in Malaysia through mi.com and Xiaomi stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Pricing is as follows:
- 4GB + 64GB: RM599 (promo price RM549)
- 6GB + 128GB: RM799 (promo price RM629)
