After Sony officially announced PlayStation 5 to be launched in 2020, we got another confirmation that the processor on it is four times stronger than its previous predecessor.
The new processors are code-named Gonzalo, Oberon, and Prospero. The processor's features an 8-core 16-thread design frequency which can reach up to 3.2 GHz. Also, a well-known hardware broker, Tum_Apisak released some benchmark results and mentioned the "Gonzalo APU" will be four times stronger than the PlayStation 4 processor. It also comes with the GTX 1080 than NVIDIA GPU which has better graphics performance!
