With the Malaysian government declaring movement restrictions, local companies have started to comply by closing down premises. That's no different for Plaza Low Yat, the well-known mall for IT goods in Kuala Lumpur. The mall's management has confirmed that the mall will be closed from 18 to 31 March 2020.

During this time, the only businesses that will be opened are the mall's F&B outlets. Even then, the public is advised to make any orders via food delivery apps, such as foodpanda and Grab Food. Grab Food has already confirmed that it will continue to operate during this period of time. In addition, foodpanda has announced that it will be launching a contactless delivery service.
