While Acer Malaysia was showing off its new gaming laptops, the company did not forget the desktop gamers as well by introducing a refreshed Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop. There is also a new Predator X32 X3 gaming monitor, but for now, let's check out the Orion 7000 first.
Developed and designed for hardcore gamers, the Orion 7000 is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology, delivering next-gen performance and game-changing AI capabilities. In addition, it comes with a liquid cooling system and is also equipped with the patented Predator CycloneX 360 to optimise airflow for further heat dissipation. It can even set the mood with its customisable dynamic ARGB lighting.
The desktop is also equipped with Wi-Fi 7 to deliver smooth gaming and uninterrupted streaming. A wide range of I/O ports is included as well, such as USB Type A, USB Type C, and Thunderbolt 4 at the front and rear of the chassis. Completed with 64 GB RAM and 2TB SSD storage, the Predator Orion 7000 has additional slots for future upgrades. On the other hand, the Predator X32 X3 gaming monitor features a 31.5-inch Ultra HD (3840x2160) OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate at 4K, a 480Hz at Full HD via Dynamic Frequency & Resolution (DFR) and an ultra-low 0.01ms pixel response time. Furthermore, it also supports both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified with Delta E<1 accuracy,
There are two HDMI 2.1 ports which can be used for gaming consoles, a DisplayPort 1.4 for high-performance PCs, and a USB-C port with 90W power delivery. It is also Eyesafe Certified 2.0 to reduce eye strain by filtering blue light. Backed by Acer’s Zero Bright Dot policy and a 3-year parts and repair warranty, the Predator X32 X3 is priced at RM4,999 and is available immediately from the Acer eStore, Acer's official store on Shopee and Lazada.
