Are you a gamer and have always wished to see an e-Sports scene happening in Malaysia more often? Well, you're in luck because ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) are organizing a ROG Champions Cup Grand Final soon in Sunway Pyramid Ice Rink on 25 June 2016. League of Legends, currently the hottest e-Sport game in the world now is chosen for the tournament, and the winning team gets to walk away a total prize pool of RM60000 with a ROG laptop each.
Announced about a month ago, the ROG Champions Cup is the first ever e-Sports tournament to be held publicly in Malaysia. So far, there is a total of 177 teams from all over Malaysia who have registered for the tournament. After last week's qualifier rounds hosted at various cyber cafes nationwide – below are the teams from States' Qualifiers round.
