The ROG Phone 7 will be launching on 13 April 2023 soon and it seems that there are some leaks online about how the phones would look like. From the looks of it, the upcoming successor still looks more or less the same.
First off, it seems that the ROG Phone 7 would continue its white model with an LED panel on the back, alongside a model that has more stripes design as seen in the images. The same goes for the rear camera design and on the front, and there's a front camera on the top right. The USB C and 3.5mm audio jack return as expected, alongside a pair of speakers on the top and bottom.
However, we also got a glimpse of the Aero Active Cooler and it looks bigger than usual. It might indicate that the predecessor might not be able to equip it at all but do take it with a grain of salt. In case you don't know, the cooler is an accessory to help bring down the temperature on the rear of the ROG Phone 7. The dual 3000mAh battery pack seems to be back as well.
In terms of tech specs, we are expecting the ROG Phone 7 to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB of RAM and support 65W fast charging technology. It should also run on Android 13 out of the box with its customised ROG UI. The AMOLED display size may be slightly longer, measuring a 6.78-inches with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.
