ROG Strix G15 with Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and Radeon RX 6800M found online

Remember the new ROG Strix G15 that was launched last month? This 15-inch laptop came with pretty powerful hardware at a relatively reasonable price. But that's not the only variant available, as another one with a more powerful CPU and GPU has been spotted.

The ever-reliable @TUM_APISAK has spotted a CPU-Z Validator page for the ASUS G513QY, which is an upgraded variant of the ROG Strix G15. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, an AMD Radeon RX 6800M GPU with 12GB VRAM, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 2TB of SSD storage. In terms of clock speeds, the CPU can go up to 4.7GHz.

The leak also shows that the device will have the same 15.3-inch 1080p screen. However, the '60-45 Hz' is probably an error by the tool, as we expect this variant to have the same 144Hz refresh rate. However, the more powerful hardware could mean that this variant would generate more heat and may need a thicker heatsink to compensate.
