So today is the last day of Shopee’s Thank You Sale for its successful 11.11 sale. If you were one of the shoppers, you and the rest of the 42 million shoppers have contributed greatly to Shopee’s biggest sale record yet - in just 24 hours, the company recorded more than 11 million orders which was 4.5x than last year, as well as selling over 58,000 items average for a minute.
To add on to that, participating brands and sellers have enjoyed up to 716 times increase in orders and an average of more than 750% increase in traffic. According to the company, Health & Beauty, Mobile & Gadget and Home & Living emerged as the top three categories which resulted in the Realme 2 Pro as the best-selling smartphone for the day. For fashion and beauty products, Telekung Arafah Lace and Maybelline Lip Studio were among the top-selling items on Shopee. On the other hand, Shopee’s popular in-app game, Shopee Shake was played more than 4 million times in Malaysia.
That’s one heck of a sale during the weekend. Personally, we think the 11.11 sale this year was pretty awesome and it’s hard to think how Shopee will outdo its new record next year. Guess we will just have to wait and see, stay tuned for more Shopee news at TechNave.com.
