The realme XT has been officially launched in Malaysia today. The device features a 64MP main sensor as well as the Snapdragon 712 chipset. It comes with a decent price tag at RM1399 which is pretty good.
Design-wise, it comes in Pearl Blue and Pearl White. This device will go on sale on the 11th of November 2019 at 12 midnight but first sales which will be happening offline will be available starting on the 9th of November. Alongside the realme XT, the realme 5 (3GB +32GB) variant was also launched and priced at RM549 but marked down to RM499 for the Lazada 11.11 sale and will be available at 12AM. Both devices will only be exclusively sold Lazada.

In terms of camera, the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup with 64MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide, 119 degree FOV) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth). As for the selfie camera, it comes equipped with a 16MP sensor placed in the waterdrop notch. The fast charger that comes with the device is pretty impressive, able to charge from 0% to 100% battery in just 80 minutes.
The 64MP main camera is their unique selling point as it utilizes Samsung’s GW1 sensor with 1/1.72 inch aperture. It’s specifically about 34% larger than regular sensors and uses a 4-in-1 pixel binning and a 1.6μm individual-sized pixels for 16MP photos. This means that users can choose to capture photos in 16MP or 64MP ultra mode.
Besides that, realme also introduced the realme Power Bank with 10000mAh battery capacity, 18W fast charge and bi-directional charging (you can charge your phone and power bank at the same time) priced at RM129, the realme Buds Wireless priced at RM149 and the realme Buds 2 priced at RM49. In conjunction with the Shopee 11.11 Big Sale, the realme Buds 2 will be given a special price of RM39. All of these will be available for sale on the 11th of November 2019 at 12 midnight exclusively on Shopee. If you're the eager type, you can pre-order the realme Buds 2 starting from the 30th of October.
