As previously teased back in August with the Realme 5 series, the Realme XT was also mentioned and now it's unveiled. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the Realme XT.

As a mid-range device and a close cousin of the Realme 5 series, it doesn't differentiate itself much as it packs the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset with three separated memory variants using UFS 2.1 with an expandable memory. It's also slightly bigger, sporting a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 3D curved glass rear panel, Gorilla Glass 5 grade.

The selling point of the Realme XT is the quad rear camera, which consists of a 64MP (f/1.8, main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro), whereas the front camera is a 16MP sensor. The main sensor (Samsung GW1) is a big one using 1/1.71-inch which is 34% bigger than your typical sensor, as well as using a 4-in-1 pixel binning and a 1.6μm individual-sized pixels for 16MP photos. Users can choose to shoot in either 16MP or Ultra 64MP mode.

On other features, the battery is just 4000mAh but at least there's a 20W VOOC fast charging technology. There's a new in-display fingerprint too and runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. Realme said that it will be upgradable to Android 10 in the future.

For the price, there are three of them and the starting price is 15,999 Rupees (~RM937, 4GB +64GB), followed by 16,999 Rupees (~RM996, 6GB + 64GB) and finally, 18,999 Rupees (~RM1113) for the 8GB + 128GB model.

The Realme XT could go on sale in Malaysia together with the Realme 5 series, but we shall see. Until then, stay tuned for more Realme news at TechNave.com.
