Realme has announced the launch of their Realme 2 smartphone with the price starting from 1999000 IDR (~RM544.68) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version to 23999000 IDR (~RM653) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version. The midrange Realme 2 Pro is going for 2899000 IDR (~RM789.91) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version is going for 3299000 IDR (~RM898.90) to 36999000 IDR (~RM1007.89) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version in Jakarta. Also newly announced for the entry-level market was the Realme C1 going for 1499000 IDR (~RM408.44) with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage with a special Lazada Indonesia deal going for 1399000 IDR (~RM381.19)
In terms of colours, the Realme 2 comes in Diamond Black, Diamond Red and Diamond Blue while the Realme 2 Pro features the Black, Deep Blue, Light Blue color schemes. The Realme C1 is expected to come in Blue and Black with the main highlight of all the Realme devices being their large 6.2-inch to 6.3-inch displays. The Realme 2 and Realme C1 both offer large 4230 mAh batteries while the midrange Realme 2 Pro offers a faster Snapdragon 660 chipset, more memory options and better cameras.
There is no news on when they will be coming into the Malaysian market as well as Malaysian prices but if it does come, it could shake up the market even more due to the value pricing, especially for the Realme 2 Pro.
