Ever since its official launch earlier this month back in Indonesia, Josef Wang, the Marketing Director of Realme Southeast Asia has confirmed that the new smartphone brand, Realme will be making an entry into the Malaysia market. The official date is unknown at the moment but will be arriving soon in the next few weeks.
“Realme aims to be top of mind for the younger generation of Malaysians who are looking for smartphones that are fast, stylish, and affordable. With exceptional success in India and Indonesia, it was only natural that we moved to Malaysia next, a country with a smartphone penetration of 131.8%. With such impressive figures, we’re confident that Malaysia will continue Realme’s success in the region.” said Mr Wang.
Just in case you didn't know, Realme had a massive success in India, as the Realme 1 and Realme 2 series sold extremely well. Its presence is Indonesia also followed suit selling 15,000 units in just 10 minutes. Realme's target audience is the young generation who are looking for a good balance in performance and style, which is why Realme's tagline is "Proud to be Young".
