If you recall, nubia announced a new cooling system for its gaming sub-brand RedMagic last weekend. This water cooling system will debut with the RedMagic 11 Pro, a premium gaming phone expected to launch soon. Extra details of the new cooling system have been released since then.
Inspired by AI-server cooling systems
At RedMagic's Gaming and Liquid Cooling Technology Conference, the company introduced its new mass-produced liquid cooling system with other advanced air-cooling innovations. Specifically, the setup consists of the new liquid cooling system and RedMagic's Turbo Fan 4.0. Together, they combine to set a new standard in thermal management and gaming performance for mobile devices.

Inspired by AI liquid-cooled servers, the new liquid cooling system uses fluorinated cooling liquid, an anti-freezing coolant with great electrical insulation and thermal conductivity. The other part of the system, the Turbo Fan 4.0, is an active air cooling fan capable of spinning at up to 24000 rpm. It also has a duct for continuous airflow, ensuring that heat can be quickly conducted away from the chipset and maintain the phone's consistent performance.
Info on RedMagic 11 Pro
RedMagic said that the upcoming RedMagic 11 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 as we predicted. As one of Qualcomm's 2025 flagship chipsets, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 may not perform as well as the Elite model. However, the phone's new cooling system should be better at sustaining high-performance gaming.

To us, the RedMagic 11 Pro and its new cooling system are quite interesting. We're looking forward to this phone launching here, but how about you?
