Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi is likely to launch a new affordable smartphone soon, the Redmi A3. Previously, the device was spotted passing India’s BIS certification and now, it has also passed TDRA and NBTC certifications.
Spotted by MySmartPrice, the A3 has the model number 23129RN51X in TDRA, which is the UAE’s equivalent for SIRIM. The same device was also spotted on NBTC, which is Thailand’s governing body equivalent to TDRA, India’s BIS and of course, SIRIM.

Hence, it’s safe to assume that the A3 will launch globally soon. However, nothing much about the device was revealed by NBTC and TDRA, only confirming that the smartphone won’t support 5G connectivity.
It is unknown when the A3 would be released though, but rumours point towards a March 2024 launch. Until more information is available, stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and more trending tech news.
