Redmi K30 Pro already sounds like an impressive smartphone to me from all the rumours we’ve seen these few days. Other than featuring a pop-up camera and some sort of technology called 4D tactile immersive feedback, the device also comes with a design that you will no doubt take a second look at. Now, another rumour hits us one more time before the launch happens on 24 March 2020. The Redmi K30 Pro is coming with not just one, but two Sony IMX686 camera sensors in its quad-camera setup.

According to a new series of teasers uploaded by Redmi on Weibo, the device’s camera features have been revealed beforehand to keep us excited. Among the two sensors, it is said that one will be used for the main camera and the other one is for telephoto shots. The other features including 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom have also been revealed in the teasers.

The 64MP sensor is big at 1/1.7-inch with the use of 4-in-1 binning technology for 16M 1.6μm-sized pixels. Other than that, both of the 64MP sensors are also coming with optical image stabilization that Redmi claims to control all 4 axis, thanks to data from the device’s gyroscope and accelerometer. For video recording, the Redmi K30 Pro will be able to record up to 8K video quality.

Last but not least, other than the white, blue, and green colour options that we’ve seen earlier, there will also be a sliver Redmi K30 Pro being added into the family. After hearing these rumours, we really can’t wait for the official launch to happen in just a few days to find out what’s the deal with this powerful device.
