Smartphones tend to have a major feature it leans heavily on. For gaming smartphones, it's all about the performance at the expense of aspects like the camera. But Redmi is working on avoiding that with the Redmi K50 Gaming.

It's expected to come with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor for its main camera, which uses large 1.6μm pixels to deliver greater low-light photos. In addition, it can output images with resolutions of up to 9248 x 6944. Redmi also confirmed that the phone will use a 20MP front camera that has a beauty mode using AI.

Besides the cameras, the Redmi K50 Gaming is also expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It was also revealed that the phone will have a 4700mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and dual vapour chamber. We also know what the theme for the phone's design is a "dream sports car", according to Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing.
