
It was a big day for Xiaomi fans yesterday in China, as the company released several new products, such as the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 and Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro. Besides that, the company launched new products under its subsidiary Redmi, too, the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad, with this article focusing on the former.
Redmi K80 Ultra launched in China with Dimensity 9400+ SoC, 7410mAh battery and more

Under the hood, the K80 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC paired with 12.16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. Meanwhile, the battery is a massive 7410mAh cell, which supports 100W wired charging and bypass charging.
As for the screen, it’s a 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED with a 1280p+ resolution, 3200 nits peak brightness, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 20MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide.
The K80 Ultra starts at ~RM1532 in China

In China, the K80 Ultra is offered in four colour options, namely Sandstone Grey, Moon Rock White, Spruce Green and Ice Front Blue. Prices start at CNY2599 or ~RM1532, with global availability yet to be announced.
