Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G release - Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, 120W charging and 200MP main camera from ~RM1219

After months of hype, Redmi today released the Redmi Note 13 5G series in China. This article will focus on the highest-end variant, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, so read on below to find out more about the device! 

First up, the Note 13 Pro+ 5G which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery under the hood that supports 120W charging via the USB-C port.

As for the display, it’s a curved 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a 1.5k resolution and 1800 nits peak brightness, supports 12-bit and Dolby Vision, and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. There’s also a fingerprint sensor under the panel, as well as a punch-hole cutout at its top centre, housing a 16MP selfie shooter.

At the rear, there’s a 200MP main camera utilising the Samsung HP3 1/1.4-inch sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Other notable specs include dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, MIUI 14 OS, an IR blaster, an IP68 rating and colour options of Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain, Shallow Dream and a limited edition camoflage-esque design in partnership with Aape.

In China, the Note 13 Pro+ 5G starts at CNY1899 or ~RM1219 for 12/256GB, CNY2099 or ~RM1347 for 12/512GB and CNY2199 or ~RM1412 for 16/512GB. It’s going on sale in the country starting 26 September, with global availability not yet announced.
