Redmi Note 13 series confirmed to launch on 21 September

After being in the rumour mills for a while, Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi has finally announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series. Comprising the Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G, the devices will make their debut during an event in China at 7pm on 21 September. 

Announced on its official Weibo account, Redmi also shared official renders of all 3 devices. Based on the images, it looks like the vanilla Note 13 and Note 13 Pro will have flat displays while the Note 13 Pro+ would have a curved display.

Besides that, all devices seem to sport an AMOLED panel and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the Note 13 Pro+ sports a leather back without a camera module, while the Note 13 Pro has a glass back with a raised square camera module. Both of the Pro variants feature a 200MP main camera. 

Previously, Redmi confirmed that the Note 13 Pro+ will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. No further official specs were revealed or whether they would be released globally.
