The Redmi Note 7 was launched in Spain on the 6th of March and now it has finally made its way to our shores! The device features an impressive 48MP camera - which is currently the most affordable 48MP camera in this price range. At the same time, the Redmi 7 was also introduced as another budget friendly smartphone, along with three other new ecosystem products but that's another story to tell. So let's focus on the two smartphones!

According to Xiaomi Malaysia, the first sale for all three models - 3GB + 32GB , 4GB + 64GB (RM799) and 4GB + 128GB (RM949) wiil have its first sale on 27 March 2019 and each buyer will have an 18-month warranty, the lowest model spec will be exclusive on Lazada Malaysia. Likewise for the Redmi 7, the first sale is also on the same said date with two models - 2GB + 16GB (RM499) and 3GB + 32GB (RM599). Retail partner also includes Maxis, Shopee, DirectD and Urban Republic.

Tech specs wise, the Redmi 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 632 processor as well as a 4000mAh battery but without any fast charging technology, its LCD display is 6.26-inch long with HD+ resolution and overall, the design looks more or less the same as the Redmi Note 7. The dual rear camera consists of 12MP + 2MP, while the front sports an 8MP camera. There are also three colour models which are comet blue, lunar red and eclipse black.

On the other hand, all Redmi Note 7 variants are powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor and comes with a respectable 4000mAh battery capacity which supports 10W Quick Charge 4 technology. Below are some our hands-on pictures of the device:

The display is a IPS LCD screen and measures at 6.3 inches with a dot notch on the top, housing a decent 13MP selfie snapper. Almost bezel-less if it weren't for that #thicc chin and notch!

For its design, it comes with a dual rear camera setup with the 48MP + 5MP (depth) sensor which come with a variety of AI functions. There are also 3 gradient colour variants which are Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black, giving some personality to the smartphones!
