Redmi Note 9 Pro tech specs leaked, expected to have Snapdragon 720G chipset and up to 6GB RAM

The launch of the Redmi Note 9 series may just be around the corner, but that's not going to stop people from leaking. In the latest piece of leak, some of the tech specs for the Redmi Note 9 Pro have been revealed in a Twitter post. It confirms key specs like the chipset, RAM, and screen size.

According to Ishan Agarwal, a few specs of the Redmi Note 9 Pro have been identified and confirmed. The key hardware includes the Snapdragon 720G chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, 6.67-inch 1080p display possibly with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 5020mAh battery. In addition, it comes with a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro lens, and a depth sensor. As for the front camera, it's a 16MP punch-hole camera.

Besides that, it was mentioned that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black colours. Based on our previous article about the leaked GeekBench score, we also know that this device will run Android 10 out of the box. At this point, the only important detail about this device yet to be revealed is its price.

Anyway, it looks like the Redmi Note 9 Pro is going to be a mid-ranger that focuses on having a good camera setup and long battery life for the budget-conscious user. What we're not so sure of is whether it will arrive in Malaysia.
