The Redmi Pad 2 is launching in Malaysia soon, but we don’t have to wait long to know its full specs and features, as the tablet was just launched in the UK. Featuring some competitive specs for its class, read on to learn more.
Helio G100 Ultra SoC, 11-inch 90Hz IPS LCD and more
Under the hood, the Pad 2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra SoC paired with 4/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Meanwhile, the battery is a 9000mAh cell, which supports 18W charging via the USB-C port.
Screen-wise, it’s an 11-inch 90Hz IPS LCD with a 2560x1600p resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate and 600 nits peak brightness. As for cameras, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter at the front and an 8MP main camera at the rear.
Other notable specs include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, IPv6, HyperOS 2, Dolby Atmos quad speakers, and colour options of either Mint Green or Graphite Grey.
Pricing and availability
In the UK, the Pad 2 starts at GBP169 or ~RM969. It will be launched in other markets, including Malaysia, soon.
