Earlier this week, it was rumoured that Xiaomi would launch a new smartband soon. The Redmi Smart Band Pro was set to launch in selected countries on 28 October 2021. But a global release didn't take long, as it has been spotted on Xiaomi's global website.

The Redmi Smart Band Pro is the successor of the Redmi Smart Band, and it comes with a few areas of improvement. One of them is the larger 1.47-inch AMOLED display, which delivers a max brightness level of 450nits. It also has over 110 fitness modes to choose from, a heart-rate sensor, blood oxygen monitoring, and more.

In terms of design, Xiaomi went with a more affordable plastic nylon body made out of polycaprolactam. The body is reinforced with glass fibre, which helps it stay water-resistant up to 50 metres underwater. For the strap, Xiaomi went with a standard black silicone strap.

Xiaomi hasn't revealed the availability and price of the Redmi Smart Band Pro here, but we're expecting an announcement soon. For updates on that, do stay tuned to TechNave.com. Also, do share your thoughts about the new smartband below in the comments!
