The Redmi Turbo 4 was released earlier this year as the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, and now, the company revealed that a Pro variant is coming next week. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will also be the first smartphone to feature a new processor, this time, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.
As reported by GizmoChina, which sourced Xiaomi’s General Manager for China Marketing Wang Teng, the Turbo 4 Pro will launch in China next week. Previously, it was already confirmed that the device will sport the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, and given its release timeframe, it would be the first to do so, ahead of the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro.
Besides that, nothing much about the specs was revealed, though Wang did tout it as a performance-driven offering that would shake up the mid-range segment. Until further info is available, stay tuned to Technave for more trending tech news.
