Redmi Watch 5 release - 1500 nits AMOLED, up to 24-day battery and HyperOS 2.0 from ~RM367

Besides releasing the Redmi K80 Series yesterday, the Xiaomi subsidiary also released other products, including a new wearable, the Redmi Watch 5. Featuring some excellent specs for the price, read on to learn more about the smartwatch. 

The Watch 5 has a 2.07-inch 60Hz AMOLED display with up to 1500 nits peak brightness and slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the frame is made out of aluminium and comes with a metal dial for you to navigate the OS, which is now HyperOS 2.0.

It also comes with the usual health sensors, such as a new heart-rate sensor that Redmi claims to have 97.1 per cent accuracy. Furthermore, it can also track blood oxygen, sleep and stress. 

Other notable specs include a built-in GNSS positioning sensor and a 550mAh battery which Redmi said can last up to 24 days with normal use and up to 12 days with the always-on display mode on. The Watch 5 is offered in a regular or eSIM version. 

The Watch 5 is offered in Black or Silver colours and is priced at CNy599 or ~RM367, while the Watch 5 eSIM version is priced at CNY799 or ~RM490 and is offered in Titanium Silver colour. Stay tuned to TechNave for the latest tech releases such as this and more!
