Redmi GM, Lei Ju, had confirmed a Redmi device with Snapdragon 855 was in the works. Today, a hands-on video showing off the alleged device has surfaced on the internet, showing off the triple rear camera setup and an O cutout on the top and center of the device. Yikes.

The 10 second long video quickly gives us a glance at the device. A triple rear camera setup could be on seen on the back alongside a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of design, it features a pretty cool slightly holographic onyx colour.

The interesting part though, was the cutout screen on the front. Instead of having it on the top right or left of the device like the HONOR View20 or the Samsung Galaxy S10, the device has placed it on the top and in the middle of the screen. Personally, it's a huge no from me. It looks distracting and frankly, hideous.

It comes with a pretty thick chin but the bezels are thin enough. No other information and tech specs about the device has been shared yet but we’ll be sure to update you on TechNave.com when we find out more. What do you think of the cutout?
