Xiaomi decided to bring back the webcam too

Some say that Xiaomi is gearing up for a big launch this month, which will see the reveal of the Redmi K40 and Note 10 series. The company is also expected to launch a new RedmiBook Pro laptop at the event. Here's some new info about the laptop.

According to the latest teaser, the RedmiBook Pro will come with a "full-size backlit keyboard". Since this looks to be an ultrathin and light, that probably means it's a regular laptop keyboard without any Numpad. Strangely, Xiaomi is talking about backlit keyboards since they aren't unique, but the teaser could also be hinting at the backlighting being in non-white colours. If that's the case, then it would be something worth noting.

In terms of hardware specs, it will be equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core H35 series CPU, which was designed for ultraportable gaming. It's also expected to feature an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU, a 2K display, and the return of a webcam. If these specs are accurate, then non-white colour backlighting for the keyboard wouldn't be that unusual.

So far, the design for this laptop pegs it as a regular ultraportable. But if you want to play games like CS: GO or League of Legends, its hardware should be more than capable.
