Google Stadia launched recently, allowing those who have a subscription to start playing through the games streaming platform. Now, one week later, those who bought the Stadia Founder's Edition box will also be able to get a friend to join in the fun with the Buddy Pass.
The Buddy Pass can be found on the Stadia app, appearing in the form of an envelope icon. You can send this e-envelope to a friend, who will then get 3-month access to Stadia Pro once the pass. To redeem the pass, your friend will have to download the Stadia app and create an account first. Once done, head over to the Stadia website to start playing.
The only thing you will want to note is that the Buddy Pass essentially puts you on a rolling Stadia Pro subscription worth USD 9.99 (~RM42) per month. If you're not keen on continuing with the service beyond that 3 months, you have to cancel the subscription before the due date.
