The Honor 6X, or also known as Mate 9 Lite in certain countries, was announced for global availability earlier this year during CES2017. Rumour has it that there will a Malaysian launch and pre-order on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2017, and Honor fans would be able to get their hands on the phone by 17th February! The rumoured price for Malaysia would be RM1199 for the 3GB version. As a reference, the price for the 3GB version was USD 249 (~RM 1145) while the 4GB version was priced at USD 299 (~RM 1345) during its revealing at CES2017.
The Honor 6X builds upon the successful Honor 5X, but with better features, including dual camera sensors. Key features of the Honor 6X includes:
- 5.5-inch 2.5D Full HD (1080p) display
- Kirin 655 octa-core 2.1GHz processor
- Mali-T830 MP2 CPU
- 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage
- 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera
- Front 8MP selfie camera
- 3340mAh battery
- Rear fingerprint sensor
