Last month, it was rumoured that OnePlus could have a new variant of the OnePlus 10 series on the way. Some claimed that this could be the OnePlus 10 Ultra, while others think it's the OnePlus 10R. However, it's now believed that the upcoming device will be named the OnePlus Ace.

A Weibo post by OnePlus COO Liu Fengshuo was spotted to have originated from a OnePlus Ace device. The source also posted images of the device, which was being charged and in a plastic cover. As you can see, the device has a punch-hole for a front camera and a rather impressive screen-to-body ratio on the display. We also noticed that the fast charging is at 150W instead of 160W. This suggests that it could be a different device from the PGKM10 model that was previously found.

The COO posted using a device called the OnePlus Ace

Having said that, the source claimed that this is indeed the PGKM10 model. It's expected to house a Dimensity 8100 chipset, 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 4500mAh battery, and a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2412×1080) OLED display. While the charging speed is different, the other specs are in line with the info that was previously leaked.

Regardless, there's a OnePlus device that's coming soon with these specs, and it could be the OnePlus Ace. But would it be a good alternative to the other OnePlus smartphones this year? Let us know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about it.
