We are still far away from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 announcement, there is a new rumour about the phablet getting a 8GB RAM on board, a new variant and even about the Note 9 next year. Let’s see what it has to say.

According to rumours, there will be another Note 8 model called the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition and it will be marketed to the Chinese market. Why the sudden change of plans? Perhaps it has something to do with the recently released ZTE Nubia Z17 as the first to have 8GB of RAM, followed by the ASUS ZenFone AR as well. Since China is the largest smartphone market globally, it kind of makes sense that Samsung is "planning" to release that Emperor Edition model for them. As for the international model, the Note 8 is to sport a 6GB RAM.

On the other hand, rumours have it that the Note 9 will have a jaw dropping 12GB RAM, along with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ to start with 10GB RAM. The S9+ might even be dubbed as Emperor Edition too, but let’s just take this with a pinch of salt.

The Note 8 is scheduled to be revealed at the IFA 2017 event in September and could be the first to feature a Snapdragon 836 chipset. Stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
