ASUS has always been in the forefront of trying new technologies in their products. One of the memorable products (but maybe a bit flawed in certain situations) is the ASUS Zenfone Zoom. We actually reviewed the smartphone, right here. Now we may see an update to this smartphone, in the form of the Zenfone 3 Zoom.

It will be using a dual camera system – eschewing the optical zoom that was used in the previous model. The dual cameras will be a 16-megapixel pair of sensors, with a 13-megapixel from selfie unit. The screen will be a 5.5-inch Full HD display and 2.5D for comfortable handling in the hand. Running the show will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, with multiple RAM options (2, 3 or 4GB depending on region). There will also be multiple storage options as well – with 16, 32 and 64GB options available. It will have a massive 4850 mAh battery, and will only be 7.99mm thick.

It will come in three colours – Black, Silver and Gold, and we may see it during the CES 2017 event happening next month. Will this model come to Malaysia? We will have to wait and see, so stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more information on the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom.
