We have talked about the Blackberry Mercury – the last in-house designed Blackberry smartphone after the Priv. While the two most recent models were a collaboration with their manufacturing partner TCL, this model will be fully designed in-house, and will be the swan song of the design team at Blackberry.

From the images shared online, this looks like a cross between the Blackberry Passport and the Priv. It has the Blackberry physical QWERTY keyboard, and it will be running Android. A tentative specs list sees the Mercury may be carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 4.5-inch screen, a 3400mAH battery, an 18-megapixel ear shooter paired with a 8-megapixel selfie unit, and running Android 7.0 out of the box.

These specs may change before the launch date, so take it with a grain of salt. Stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more news on the upcoming Blackberry Mercury.
