The Samsung Galaxy C-series is definitely close to launch, as more information of the device pops up on line. We have seen how it looks like, a potential bigger C7 model , and now we have the full specs and possible pricing for the smartphones.
Samsung will possibly bring out two new models under the new C-series – the Samsung Galaxy C5 and Samsung Galaxy C7. The C5 is expected to have a 5.2" panel, and the C7 a 5.7" one, both with 1080 x 1920 pixels display. The phones are expected to be pretty thin - between 6mm and 7mm, and feature 2,600 mAh or 3,300 mAh battery packs respectively.
The two models should sport a Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. For cameras, they should have 16 MP shooter at the back with an f/1.9 aperture, and an 8 MP selfie camera at the front. Also, the phones should arrive with Samsung’s Ultra High Sound Quality (UHQA) sound setup.
The phones is expected to be priced around USD 246 (~RM990) for the Galaxy C5 and USD 275 (~RM1110) for the larget Galaxy C7. It is also expected to be sold in China first, to go against brands like Xiaomi and Honor. For Malaysia? We have to wait first.
