Here’s something new from the rumour mill, we have received news of the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 which should be released in the third quarter of 2017 if it follows Huawei’s traditional schedule. So what’s new?

According to sources, the chipset will be called the Kirin 970. We expect the Kirin 970 to have the same Cortex-A73 cores just like the 960 version to compete with the Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895, and it will be manufactured in 10nm size which should make the device save a lot of battery energy.

However, they might be using the Mali-G71MP12 GPU instead of the G71Mp8 version. There’s nothing about the clocking speed for the CPU as well. Design-wise, we won’t be surprised if the phone will head towards the bezel-less design since that seems to be the trend nowadays.

Expect more Mate 10 rumours to come by over the next few months, stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
