It's not uncommon that most companies will make a spin-off of a certain device to meet a different target audience in different regions, take the LG G5 for example, which was revealed during CES 2016 and came out a G5 SE in Russia just end of April. Now, it seems that the company is planning to release another variant called the X5, according to a trademark made by an accompanying logo online.
The X5 name could mean anything, so we're not sure if it could be a smartphone or some kind of a new device. It's also noted that most of the time, companies would often trademark names, but unused if the idea is not working. However, there are a bunch of new LG handsets bearing the 'X' letter, such as the X cam and X screen. So maybe it has something to do with that? Furthermore, the logo is present too in the X5 trademark.
With much mystery of the X5, only time will reveal what is the buzz all about. We will keep you in the loop so stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
