We're just a week away from Meizu's unknown 10 August event in China, we already know that they are planning to introduce a new E series smartphone, however, there was something else that caught our attention, which is the much talked Meizu Smartwatch.

A supposed image leak of the smartwatch's chain strap was spotted in Weibo by popular leaker @kJuma, while it's still a rumour, the chain looks too "legit" to disapprove and perhaps it could show up with Meizu E series together at the event. Also recalling back on the company's teaser on the wearable, it seems to tease that the strap can be detached. If that's the case, there could also mean that there might be a default strap of leather or rubber.

Meizu could actually get away with this because as of now, not many companies have a detachable strap, and those who did are not affordable as well. We will just have to wait and see, stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
