Last week, we reported that Meizu was planning to manufacture a new curved display device and could feature an Exynos 8890 chipset. There was also a leaked image of the supposedly new Meizu with a curved screen display, but it was taken very poorly (perhaps on purpose), but now there's a second image leak which might seem too good to be true, showing Meizu CEO, Huang Zhang confirming the existence of a curved screen Meizu smartphone in some kind of online message board.

From what we know, the CEO said the new Meizu is in development at the moment and the company won't be naming it the Meizu Pro 6 Edge. It's definitely not the Pro 7 either since the Pro 6 was just recently released, so it's safe to say that it's definitely a new name. Lastly, he also mentioned that Flyme 6 OS is in development as well and it's like the new version will debut together with the upcoming Meizu smartphone.
Aside from that, there was nothing else the CEO mentioned. No release date was given, but seeing how Meizu conquered the month of April with three new devices; we should be seeing the new one in the second half of 2016. As for the price, it's said to be more than 3000 Yuan (around RM1866).
Until then, stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
