New leak pictures of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are online again, this time showing the front glass panel and the “actual”phone model in a protective casing. We also got a closer look at the dual rear cameras.

For the panel, the screen-to-body ratio looks like is even higher than the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the bezels at the side seem narrower and the corners are more discrete and curved. According to the source, the Note 8 will measure 162.4 x 74.5 x 8.4mm.

On the other hand, we can’t get a good look of the dummy Note 8 that’s protected by the casing, but we still can have a closer look at the camera. If this is true, this means that Samsung has not really figure out on how to embed the fingerprint sensor below the front display yet, so it is still remained behind. Even though it’s placed next to the LED flash, it will take some time for users to get use to pressing it slightly off the middle.

Additionally, the Note 8 is also said to be compatible with DeX docking station. We have not seen the capability of the DeX with the S8 yet in Malaysia. So we hope to see it happen should they promote it.

26 August 2017 is slated to be the reveal date of the Note 8, stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
