The next Nexus phones are reported to be developed by HTC, and they are code named Sailfish and Marlin respectively. We have talked a bit on the design and specs on TechNave before, and now we have images showing the phone in use in real life.

As we shared here, the render of the proposed phone is looking almost similar to the photo that we have seen online. This includes the dual-tone design and material use, and the all black construction as well.

As a recap, we can expect the phone to have:

  • 5" 1080p display (~440PPI)
  • Quad-core 2.0GHz 64-bit processor (model unknown)
  • 4GB RAM
  • 2770mAh battery
  • 32GB storage (possible base model)
  • 12MP rear camera, 8MP front
  • Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
  • USB-C port
  • Bottom-firing speaker or speakers (unknown if dual)
  • Top-mounted headphone jack

We would love to see the phone in alternative colours other than Black – what colour would be your choice? Stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more Sailfish news right to your screen.
