We are waiting in anticipation with the return of the Nokia brand to the smartphone market – and we may see their brand return to fame during the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017, happening in Barcelona. In the meantime, we have spotted another entry from Nokia online – it is called the Nokia Pixel. Before you jump for joy however, this seems to be something decidedly low-end.
The specs from Geekbench shows the phone is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with dual cores. This means that the phone is using the Snapdragon 200 as the Soc. It will also come with 1GB of RAM, and Android 7.0 out of the box. No other information available, but the scores given are in line with a device with a low-end SoC.
We can’t help to be a bit disappointed with this news, as we expect the company to come out with something a bit more substantial and higher-end. Whatever the case is, we are happy to see Nokia is slowly coming back into the smartphone market again – so stay tuned to TechNave for more news on Nokia’s new range of phones, announcing soon.
