As OPPO continues to progress steadily in the smartphone industry, it looks like a new successor to the OPPO R9 - the R9S which is coming to China on 12 September 2016.
According to various sources, the R9S will feature Snapdragon 625 chipset instead of Helio processor, the same 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution, a 16MP rear camera + 13MP front camera and a 2850mAh battery pack inside the hood. Besides that, their trademark Super VOOC fast charging technology should be on board; a dual SIM dual standby is said to be supported by an entire network in China, and lastly, a special "No Antenna Band" design could be featured, based on leaked sketches (image above).
