We can safely assume that the new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy J3 (2017) are coming out this year, due to the recent tech-specs leak last week and certification, this time we got a piece of news about a new Galaxy J7 Max from a presentation slide, revealing a lot of details.

According to the presentation slide, the device is featuring:

  • 1.6 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6757V (Helio P20) chip
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • 5.7-inch TFT display in 1080p
  • 13MP rear camera (LED Flash, F/1.7) / 13MP front camera
  • Features Samsung Pay Mini
  • Android 7.0 Nougat
  • 3300mAh battery

There is another piece of information about this, though, it seems that the device could be an Asian edition as it was mentioned in the source that the MediTek chip is not compatible much with American LTE bands. If so, then a Qualcomm Snapdragon variant should be out there some where but that’s just a wild guess now.

Finally, it will be available in black and gold. It’s also rumoured to be on sale for $311 (around RM1348) and slated for June released. There’s a big chance that it will come to Malaysia too since the Galaxy J series are a popular one here. Stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
