We’ve had tons and tons of rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as we get closer and closer towards the official launch in New York on 23 August 2017. However, VentureBeat has claimed that we have to look no further, as this will be the final specs and look of the upcoming Samsung stylus beauty.

According to them, the Note 8 will come with these ‘confirmed’ specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (USA model), Samsung Exynos 8895 (International model) processor
  • 6GB RAM
  • 64GB storage
  • 6.3-inch Super AMOLED, dual curve, 1440 x 2960, 18.5:9 aspect ratio display
  • 162.5 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm dimension
  • Dual 12 MP  main camera with optical image stabilization and 2x optical zoom
  • 8 MP front camera with autofocus
  • IP68-certified for dust and water resistance
  • USB Type-C
  • 3300 mAh battery with fast charge/wireless charging

Let us not forget that this is after all a Samsung Galaxy Note device so it will definitely come with the latest and greatest Samsung S Pen. No details have been reported anywhere about the stylus but we are pretty sure that Samsung has a huge surprise in store for us on this.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is reported to be launched with only two colour variants initially: the Midnight Black and Maple Gold. In the future, we are expected to see an additional Deep Sea Blue and Orchid Grey version.

Malaysians dying to get their hands on this phone should expect to see its release right after the 23 August 2017; Samsung has never been late for us before. Of course, don't forget that the Note 8 is still expected to cost well over RM4000 so make sure to start saving that pocket money.
