It had been rumoured earlier on that Huawei would also be launching the Huawei Watch 2 alongside the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
This looks like a unique way to incorporate a SIM slot into the Huawei Watch 2
Some images appear on the internet today, purportedly those of the Huawei Watch 2. It seems that it will sport a Nano SIM slot, hinting at cellular capabilities. It also looks a lot sportier compared to the first Huawei Watch, which looked more like a fashion piece. Its bezel, seems like a rotating bezel that could possibly offer additional controls, much like the one on the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, although, it is still pretty much unsure at this point of writing. The heart-rate sensor, which had been retained, is clearly shown in the pictures. Also, compared to the previous Huawei Watch that only came with a single physical button, it now clearly has 2 buttons for more control.
Lastly, the Huawei Watch 2 will allegedly come in 3 colours, black, orange, and some kind of speckled grey. Well, we’ll find out all the details when the Huawei Watch 2 gets officially announced in 2 days!
