Rumours: Xiaomi Mi 5 official tech specs leaked from presentation slides
We all know Xiaomi 5 will make its debut in MWC 2016 at Barcelona and China at the same time on 24 February, while we are just a week away, someone was kind enough to grab some presentation slides of the device revealing official tech specs.
According to the slides, it seems that we will be getting two models – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Other than that, the rest of the specifications remains the same. It will equip a Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a huge 26MP rear camera with F/1.6 lens and dual LED flash + 8MP front camera, USB Type-C plug plus Quick Charge 3.0 feature, a non-removable 3600 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor on the home button, and perhaps the most interesting one, a new WiFi ad standard mentioned in the slides as a first in the smartphone industry.
With these powerful specifications, Mi 5 will prove to be a worthy challenger to all the smartphones competitors. We can't wait to see the full official device in the near future, so stay tuned for more MWC 2016 news next week at Technave!
