Xiaomi is certainly stealing the spotlight this week with the recent release of the Mi 6, and they are not quite done yet as there are multiple rumours of their other phone lineups, particularly the Mi Mix 2 that we just talked about and now the Mi Note 3.
As the successor of the Mi Note 2, the Mi Note 3 rumour first sparked off from a Weibo tipster that it will be scheduled to be released in the third quarter of this year. If we have to throw a wild guess, it could probably be released together with the rumoured Mi Mix 2, since the Mi Note 2 and the Mi Mix were released in October last year together. Little is known about the product, but we can be sure that it will use a Snapdragon 835 chipset, perhaps an OLED display as well according to that Weibo post above.
At this rate, Xiaomi seems to be going into the high end segment more than before, also retaining their economical value-for-money phones. If only they would bring in those Mi series into Malaysia officially. Stay tuned for more Xiaomi news at TechNave.com.
