Thanks to the dual camera lens on the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, it has gotten a lot of buzz in China and hopefully we can get our hands on it sometime in Malaysia (whenever it will be). Due to the success of the Redmi Pro, a new rumour has circulated around the internet saying that the device might have a small brother coming soon, it's believed that the name could be called Redmi Pro Mini and here's we got so far:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset
- 3GB / 4GB RAM
- 32GB / 128GB storage (expandable memory available)
- 5.2-inch OLED display
- Features fingerprint sensor
- 4000 mAh battery
For the processor, sources have it that it will come with an octa-core clocked in at 1.8GHz with four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. What's more, there might be three variants based on the RAM and ROM which are 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and the highest one 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Even the price tags are already speculated, each variant could cost $225 (around RM912), $255 (around RM1033) and $285 (around RM1155) respectively. Also, since it's the younger sibling, it will only have a single lens on the back instead of two.
