Rumours: vivo strongly hinting a front button-less fingerprint sensor

On 28 June 2017, there will be another MWC 2017 event held in Shanghai and vivo was quick to release to teaser with a tagline that reads “Unlock the Future”. What could that mean? Well, we have two guesses about it.

Obviously, the word unlock is referring to the fingerprint sensor. What’s more, even the logo was designed to have that fingerprint-ish feel. We are quite confident that it has something to do with the so called "black technology" which we mentioned last week, as they hinted that they have found a way to integrate it under the button-less front display.

The phone that could be using this feature is the X11, since it was also hinted at one of the Weibo forums. The X11 is said to have a nearly bezel-less display and this fits the bill with the “black technology”. Also following the footsteps of Samsung with a 18:5:9 screen-to-body ratio.

We are nearly at the end of June so everything will be revealed then, stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
