Samsung Malaysia have launched their new Samsung Galaxy A (2016) or Samsung Galaxy A6 series of smartphones for the masses. Featuring the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) for RM1299, Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) for RM1599 and Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) for RM1899. The Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) will be available on 28 January 2016 with a free 32GB microSD. A 4-day roadshow is starting today at Sunway Pyramid's Blue Concourse. Designed for the younger crowd, the entry-level Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) maintains the same metal frame and glass front and back design in a slightly smaller 4.7-inch display form factor. It is the only device in the Samsung Galaxy A (2016) range that doesn't have a fingerprint sensor built into the home button, but it still feels like a Galaxy A (2016) smartphone with a more premium look and feel, especially the gold and pink gold versions.

Despite being the bigger brother of the series and all of them being the same 7.3mm thin, the Samsung Galaxy A7 feels like the thinner phone, perhaps because of its larger 5.5-inch display.

We've already done a comparison to see if you should upgrade your Samsung smartphone to the Galaxy A series (2016) and after the price reveal, it looks like an even better deal than initially revealed. Our pick of the litter would have to be the Galaxy A5 (2016) though, as it offers the best blend of features and price in a single package. However, if you're looking for all-out power and tech specs then perhaps the Galaxy A7 (2016) is more your cup of tea.
